Key Responsibilities

Oversee civil, commercial, criminal, and regulatory cases before courts and judicial authorities.
Assess exposure, define litigation positions, and advise the Head of Legal on risk and possible outcomes.
Attend hearings where applicable and manage all procedural court requirements.
Assign cases, evaluate performance, control legal costs, and ensure high-quality representation.
Lead settlement discussions when aligned with legal strategy and company interest.
Monitor case status, deadlines, judgments, and exposure reporting.
Identify recurring dispute trends and recommend preventive actions to internal stakeholders.

Key Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in law (LLB).
Licensed to practice law in Egypt.
7–12 years of litigation experience in courts, reputable law firms, or judicial roles.
Strong courtroom experience and procedural expertise.
Experience handling high-value or complex disputes.
Financial services or fintech litigation exposure is a plus.
Experience or exposure to sustainability, labor law, gender equality, and anti-corruption practices is considered an added advantage.
